Days of Mindfulness

"To practice Mindfulness at all times in our daily lives... It's easy to say, but not so easy to do! That is why I suggest to all practitioners to try and set aside one day each week to devote entirely to the Practice This day can serve as a lever, helping us to establish the habit of living in Mindfulness."
To be a bud, sitting calmly on a stem,
To be a smile, taking part in this wonderful existence.
Stay still. No need to go anywhere.

— Thich Nhat Hanh

The Way of Practice
led by Avi Magidoff and Mark Wylie

For many people practice connotes discipline, yet the practice is really a journey towards the mind of love, connecting, feeling space and being fully open. Learning to swim in and to surrender to the practice is the way as well as the destination. In our DoM we shall look at the Metta Sutta and the Discourse on Teachings to be Given to the Sick as landmarks on this journey.

Bring a vegetarian item to share in the Pot Luck Lunch.

Suggested Dana to Chua Vietnam for use of the temple.
